The Polite Child (Op. 117 No. 19) - Gurlitt

In this study the left plays an ascending and descending legato C major scale while the right hand presents graceful two-note phrases. The crescendo and diminuendo need careful planning so as not to become loud too early during the ascending scale, or soft too early, descending.
