This work is an excellent study in phrasing releases in one hand against legato patterns in the other. When you play the seven-note phrases throughout, remember to transfer your arm weight from one key to the next, releasing with a gentle upward movement of the wrist. Avoid “clipping” the last note of the phrase, a quarter note - it must be given its full value.
