Zinna Kwon

Zinna was born in South Korea where she started taking piano lessons at the age of 6 and subsequently moved to Canada in 2009. Ms. Kwon has participated in festivals and competitions in Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo, and Kamloops and won the first prize in the Kamloops Festival of the Performing Arts.

She completed her Bachelor of Music in piano performance at the University of Victoria with Arthur Rowe and has participated in masterclasses with Kyoko Hashimoto, Terence Dawson, and Pavel Grigorievich. Furthermore, Ms. Kwon has given concerts as a soloist and chamber performer in Vancouver, Victoria, and Kamloops. 

Zinna teaches students of all ages and levels. Her passion and love for teaching create a supportive and friendly environment to motivate students and develop their musicianship so they can achieve their full potential.
