MUSIC LESSONS
Guitar
Guitar lessons will involve instruction in Classical, Flamenco, Spanish or Popular styles. We encourage having a discussion with our teachers in order to help determine the direction you want to focus your learning.
Emphasis is placed on proven fast-learning techniques. Early development of “anatomical” style that effects the pleasant tone produced by the world’s best guitar players. Imitation and spoken rhythm methods that result in correct phrasing and expressive articulation of even the most difficult of passages.
Lesson Length
Lessons tend to range from 30 minutes to 60 minutes depending on the level of the student. A guideline for the length of lessons is:
Pre-Grade - Grade 2
30 Minutes
Grade 3 - Grade 6
45 Minutes
Grade 7 - Diploma
60 Minutes
Curriculum

High School Credit
Students can receive high school credit upon completing their string and theory exams for Levels 6, 7, and 8. Certificates are given to students who pass both their practical and theory exams and can present their certificate as their Fine Arts Credit.
