As a lover of classical music, Louise Lee has trained in both the violin and the piano in London, England since the age of five. She has placed first at a number of music festival in addition to being awarded the highest marks in the country for some of her A.B.R.S.M. Exams.
Since her pre-teen years, Louise has performed in some of the greatest music halls in London and Vancouver with orchestras and ensembles, often as a concertmaster. These include the Lions Gate Sinfonia, Vancouver Film Orchestra, and the Vancouver Island Symphony. She has accompanied with the likes of Amanda Palmer and Babbu Maan, and continues to plays regularly as concertmaster of the West Coast Symphony Orchestra as well as with her string quartet, the Vandelé Quartet.
Ms. Lee is passionate about creating a healthy environment in her classroom. She encourages curiosity, self-discovery, and joy as part of learning the violin.
Louise has been teaching at the British Columbia Conservatory of Music since July 2018.
