Linda Musaraj

Violin | Viola | Deparment Head

Linda Musaraj began studying violin at age six and received her Master of Music degree in Performance, Chamber Music, and Pedagogy from the Academy of Arts at the Tirana University in Albania. Since 1985, she has performed in various orchestras, quartets and theatres, such as in Costandina’s Orchestra as a violin soloist, and in the Baroque Orchestra Atheneum as principal viola player. As well, she has been on tour in many countries including Australia, Turkey, USA, Italy, and Greece. She has been involved in such concert tours with Constandina’s Orchestra, the Symphonic Concert with Orchestra of Colors, the Greek Radio Television Orchestra, and the Albanian Radio Orchestra.

In Vancouver, Linda has played with the Burnaby Symphony, Simphonia, and is currently performing in recitals and playing chamber music with her piano trio. Since 1991, she has been an instructor of violin, viola and chamber music in Albania, Greece, and Canada. She has taught at Douglas College, the BC Conservatory of Music, and Pacific School of Music.
