Anastasia was born in Russia and has been trained in the classical Russian piano teaching method. She started taking professional piano lessons when she was five years old at Voronezh Musical College. Afterwards, Anastasia entered the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music in Moscow where she completed her bachelor’s degree under Maria Gambarian and Nana Nemsitsveridze. She continued her education and completed her master’s degree at Moscow State Institute of Culture, graduating with high honours, qualifying her as a piano teacher, solo and chamber orchestra performer, and concertmaster.
As a student, Anastasia took part in various festivals and master classes with famous Russian and European pianists such as Serguei Milstein, Vladimir Tropp, Willem Brons, Denis Burstein, Evgeniy Gutman, Valeriy Shkarupa, and Galina Minsker. She has given concerts as a solo and chamber performer in different concert halls in Moscow and other Russian cities.
Her teaching method is based on classical, Russian musical traditions which were developed by Heinrich Neuhaus and Konstantin Igumnov. While studying, Anastasia had the opportunity to work with many private students of different ages for over five years. In November 2018, Anastasia decided to move to Canada where she continues to teach piano.
